Taste and immerse yourself in a selection of the world's best Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Napa Valley, Tuscany, and Spain. Jeff Meisel of Long Meadow Ranch Napa Valley will guide you on a tasting journey where you will taste like a pro. You will learn much about your own taste buds, what it means to be truly extra virgin, and which oil you want to drizzle on your fresh mozzarella, salad or pasta. Also, we will dive into history, process, cooking and storage, and what it really means to be Extra Virgin. To complement the oils, Nor-Joe imports will supply an array of meats, cheese and crusty bread. Plus, Pastry Chef Jasiah St. Pierre from Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts will share his riff on a California Style Olive Oil Cake to end the seminar on a sweet note.
